From April 20th to 26th, 2024, approximately 30 late-bachelor's and master's students from both Applied Mathematics and Computer Science will embark on a week-long company orientation tour. The purpose is to provide an inspiring introduction to interesting companies, allowing students to branch out into all kinds of different career paths. The Business Tour presents a unique opportunity to connect students and companies. Students can acquaint themselves with companies for potential internships, thesis projects, or career opportunities. This is achieved through company visits, where the group spends a portion of a day at each participating company for an in-house experience.
On the 6th of March it will be the time to reminisce and receive an awesome booklet to remember the trip.
From the 20th till the 26th of March is the week when the Business Tour takes place. Prepare to make lasting memories with your fellow participants while orienting yourself on the job market during 10 in house days at our partnering companies!
On the 28th of March we have our first official event! Get to know your fellow students during a cosy evening in the /pub along with some complementary drinks. The slides are included below.
On the 7th of December we notified participants whether they were selected. Didn't get selected? You still have a chance to participate! If you sign up now you'll be placed on the back-up list. If a spot opens up you'll get a week to decide whether you want to fill it.
Registration has closed, but you can still sign up for the back-up list.
Since we have limited participant spots, we've implemented a ranked selection system for the Business Tour.
We will consider your CV, academic performance, and motivation letter to determine the most suitable participants.
To minimize bias, all submissions will be anonymized.
You can find more information about the selection criteria and participation requirements below.
On the 26th of October we hosted a lunch lecture delving deeper into the Business Tour. We covered essential topics such as what to expect, the timeline, logistics, potential companies, costs, and of course, how to sign up.
All the information you need to get involved can be found below.
